Back then we the thought of moving to Mexico occurred to us and we begun looking into it…well, being confused and overwhelmed may describe our state of mind and existence. And then by chance MRG came up on our Youtube screen. We found the videos helpful but then also found out that to get the full benefit there is a fee. We hesitated. We knew why. We were not committed to the move, not enough. We had a serious talk, decided to become a full member and paid the fee. Today after consulting and using extensively and practically this Encyclopedia of Relocation to MX, as we call it, and its Facebook Page–we are proudly carrying our Permanent Residency cards, are on our way to make Puerto Vallarta our home AND believe that we can wholeheartedly recommend this highly informative, HONEST and RELIABLE source. Thank you Mariana, you helped, and still helping, our dream come true.
I’ve found the guide to include a lot of very useful Information consolidated in one easy to use site.
I’m so glad I joined this community. As a frequent traveler to Mexico, I’ve found the conversations, advice and insights invaluable. When I’m ready to retire to Mexico, I look forward to taking full advantage of all the nuts and bolts information and resources Mariana and her team provide. If you’re at all interested in relocating to Mexico, the MRG is a no-brainer investment.
almost unlimited information on Mexico and if not just ask Mariana and she will get back to you.
I signed up for the Relocation Guide a few months ago and have found it to be a huge resource for info we need to get settled in Mexico! The Contact listing alone is worth its weight in gold. And I know we’ll be referring to it even after we’ve moved to Puerto Vallarta next month. We’re very grateful to have found this resource and encourage anyone seriously thinking of moving to Mexico to avail yourself of this great guide!
Mariana’s contact list has been so helpful to us! We decided to use a facilitator for our temporary resident visas – and I’m so glad we did. It’s difficult to find a consulate that is even taking appointments for visas in our area, but the facilitator worked diligently to locate one and prepared us for the process so well. We have visas in hand and are ready to look for house rentals! Using the guide for that too.
Mexico Relocation Guide is worth every penny! I have engaged a facilitator through the guide to hopefully get my permanent residency.
I plan on using it for a reference for pretty much everything that is related to moving or even renting part time in Mexico. I love that the guide is updated, accurate and available to me forever.
Highly recommend!

That’s one of its strong points – it is always very current as far as Mexican Law is concerned. Another point is that current Residency and other government fees are kept up-to-date. MRG also allows you to join their FaceBook Group, which is ONLY open to MRG purchasers. Marianna stays very current on what Mexican Laws may be in the pipeline. This also helps deflate the false rumors that social media, including FB, tend to generate. The overall attitude of the MRG is to help and encourage us on our journey toward Mexican Residency.
Saludos,
Michael H.

Hi, This tool is a game changer if you are looking to move to Mexico. After our first visit and all of the questions our friends had answered for us. We came home and the next day went onto the you tube page that we were following and purchased the kit. It takes all of the guess work and questions away for the most part. We had a step by step tool is assisting us in the plan to move. Mariana is a wealth of information. Always quick to answer specific questions. The guide and site are updated as things change. Thank you so much. We are Most Grateful. Rob and Docker.
Hola, First, I enjoyed reviewing the information provided in the relocation guide. It is extensive but easy to navigate. I highly recommend this guide to anyone considering Mexico. Don

Super helpful resource when considering moving, and when doing the actual move.
Lots of useful guidance about relocating to Mexico. I would not consider moving to Mexico without all of the contact, cultural, economic, and so much additional information that this resource provides. Well worth the cost and savings of not making the many common mistakes that I’m sure I would make without the Mexico Relocation Guide. The support via Facebook, email, etc. is a valuable bonus in addition to the guide itself.
Once we made our decision to relocate to Mexico, we wanted to move quickly. The Mexico Relocation Guide offered clear and comprehensive guides and information for every facet of our move. We now have our permanent residency in Mexico and continue to refer to the Guide for information on just about anything we are not sure about. Definitely worth every penny!
The guide is so helpful and comprehensive. Well worth the money! I also appreciate the Facebook group, consisting of supportive informative folks. Last but not least, Mariana is the heart and hub
If you’re considering relocating to Mexico, Mariana Lange’s Mexico Relocation Guide is an essential resource that simplifies the entire process. Having experienced the relocation journey, Mariana offers practical, first-hand insights that address the real challenges of moving to a new country. The guide covers everything from visa and residency requirements to finding housing, understanding healthcare options, managing finances, and adapting to Mexican culture. It’s a comprehensive roadmap with no detail overlooked, making it ideal for anyone planning a move.
What sets this guide apart is its reliability and depth. Mariana ensures the information is up-to-date, especially regarding immigration laws and residency processes, which can change frequently. Additionally, the guide provides access to a network of trusted local contacts, such as immigration facilitators, real estate agents, and healthcare providers, saving you time and stress. Combined with the user-friendly website (https://mexicorelocationguide.com), which offers free resources and community support, this guide is a must-have for anyone looking to make a smooth and informed transition to life in Mexico.

Marianna has so much important content for those contemplating relocating to Mexico including residency types a d requirements, pros and cons of many locations, referrals that she has vetted to assist you with residency, finding rentals or homes to buy, banking, moving etc. This is a detailed guide and totally worth the investment if you are serious about relocating.
I have saved more money than the guide cost. An excellent resource for relocating to Mexico. Mariana is awesome and extremely helpful. I can’t imagine making the move without the MRG.
Although there is an upfront cost, I’ve found the referrals so far to be great. Our facilitator, for example, was considerably less expensive than others recommended on Facebook sites. The Facebook pages for MRG are a wealth of information and everything is updated and current. So far we have only used a recommended facilitator but there are so many other areas where expert help is needed. If you pro rate the cost of the guide over all the referrals you may use, it’s a great value
I do recommend this guide as it provides very useful info. I have only brief experience with using it for getting my Temporary Residency. Unfortunately, I can’t provide a review of that service since the process has been delayed due to the Holiday’s. So getting an appointment to have a Consulate review my Application has not been done. I have be trying for the past month or so.
Other than that, I have to say the Guide as a resource is very good and I do recommend anyone interested in learning about moving to Mexico*****🙂👍

😀Love the guide.
It helped me my TR card from the information provided on consulates to the facilitator used to achieve my goal of becoming a resident of Mexico. I plan on retiring to the Chapala area, hopefully by next year.

We recently completed a 10 day 4 city tour in Mexico. We visited Puerto Vallarta, Guadalajara, Ajijic and Mazatlan. We used both an immigration facilitator along with 4 different relocation tour guides. These of course were all recommendations from the Mexico Relocation Guide and can tell you the information list of contacts in the guide proved invaluable. We cannot give a more heartfelt recommendation for the purchase of this guide. As Mariana says, “Move to Mexico the right way!”
My husband and I are planning a move to Mexico at some point next year. We bought the Mexico Relocation Guide to help us to find the best Mexican consulate for us to apply to for our residency visas. We received our visas and now will be using the guide to plan our next steps. We feel very confident going forward preparing for our move thanks to the helpful, needed and accurate information within Maria’s guide.
My wife and I were on the fence about joining. So glad we did it!!!! The contacts and services that we have obtained from MRG has been nothing but the best. VIP all the way!! It’s worth the fee just from the networking alone. Thank you Mariana for making this all possible.
Superb, simply superb. The guide and Mariana’s tireless efforts in keeping it current have been so helpful in reducing the expected anxiety in securing my Temporary Resident Visa. There are little nuggets throughout the guide. Save yourself tons of headaches and get this little gem. You, too, will be grateful.
After reading so much conflicting information on various social media, we felt it was time to order the MRG if we wanted to go through the Residency process as smoothly as possible. The guide is regularly updated and Mariana makes sure that the people she recommends are the best. And a huge added value, the Facebook group of the guide is full of wonderful people who unlike so many other FB groups, have great respect for each other and are always ready to help. We went through the residency process and are now preparing for our move. The MRG is definitely our no.1 reference 🙂
When we started looking into moving to Mexico, we purchased the MRG and we a very happy we did. We were able to connect to a recommended facilitator in PV that help us through the residency process. We will continue to use the guide for future needs such as apartment hunting and or real-estate. Highly recommend purchasing. Money well spent.
The Mexico Relocation Guide provides an excellent compilation of a lot of great information that would otherwise require much effort to research online and from often unreliable or outdated sources. However, the greatest value comes from the access to the many vetted contacts in various cities to assist with actually getting things done within the complicated bureaucracy that is Mexico. These “fixers” are worth every peso – especially when you can count on them being legit and performing as advertised.
My wife and I are thankful for the guide. It saved a lot of stress by providing facilitators that were excellent. We had someone in Guadalajara and Oaxaca that were/are super helpful. We will be moving next summer with another Jan/Feb home scouting trip to Oaxaca beforehand. Our facilitator and the guide are very helpful in finding housing, setting up bank accounts, getting phones, etc. The guide is useful, but having the Facebook group and all the experiences from other clients is also very helpful. It was money well spent to have the guide. Thank you, Marianna, for everything!! Honestly, I think the usefulness will be more and more as time goes on.
I recommend the “complete “Mexico Relocation Guide”, because last week I received unparalleled value in being able to accompany (travel with) my ‘small load’ of Household Goods” being moved in a ‘large’ van truck, from Arizona, to the Lake Chapala Area (in Jalisco, MX).
I used Luis Martinez’s moving services listed in the complete “Mexico Relocation Guide”, and both the shipment of my household goods, and my travel experience, were both excellent and an exceptionally good value.

When I bought the guide in November 2023, I was dubious it would prove worth the cost. Maybe it was a gimmick. Boy was I wrong…
The MRG provides enough detail to answer your questions without getting so far into the weeds that you end up confused. And the curated list of immigration facilitators and realtors is excellent. When I contacted my facilitator in CDMX, I did so with confidence that she knew the ropes.
BUT what I didn’t realize initially was the unparalleled value of the closed Facebook group. If you’ve been researching moving abroad, you may have already noticed how much bad information is on FB groups. Mariana’s FB group is only open to purchasers of the guide and, consequently, the information shared is accurate. Every now and again Mariana steps in to clarify an issue, but for the most part it is expats helping newbies like me.
I can’t say enough good things about the MRG.

Very accurate information and covers almost anything you want to know. Also give access to the facebook page and can get a feel for questions and answers from other members.😀
This has been and will continue to be my encyclopedia for my move. Not just for the preparations (choosing a place to move to, local tours, neighbourhoods) but I can see how useful it will be for getting help when settling down in a new place. Best investment I made for my next phase in life !!!
Very informative with excellent contacts in Mexico. Very helpful advice and suggestions on making the move uncomplicated and reasonable…a good investment!
This is a great guide – worth every cent that I paid. It’s updated regularly, which is essential since things are changing daily in Mexico. Mariana Lange and her team have done an excellent job of putting together all the information you will need to make a fully informed decision about moving to Mexico.
Awesome, knowledgeable with detailed and accurate information! Love it!
The guide has a ton of practical helpful information from different areas to rental, to residency requirement to local guide and immigration facilitators….
Though I have not used it much, I have taken advantage of watching many videos that MRG has posted and they have provided a wealth of informative material. I hope to be moving within the next six months from San Diego to the area between Rosarito and Ensenada in Baja Nord and will schedule some time with Mariana’s reommended facilitor in that area. Thank you, Mariana, for all that you do.
I recommend this guide to get you through the process So far we have a couple more years before we can retire to Mexico and we’ll need all the help we can get! It’s going to be a long process but we’ll make it through with the help of the guide
Mariana Lange stays on top of all developments and legal changes so the information in the guide is updated constantly. Even the many different types of facilitators will be removed or added to the guide depending on feedback received from users.
In addition to the wealth of specific information in the guide, the “customers only” feedback is invaluable for help on how to succeed in the many legal maneuvers you will have to complete to become a successful ex-pat. Information is also specific to many different locations in Mexico and the differences between procedures for Americans, Canadians, and Europeans.
This is money well spent and you will use it again and again with lifetime access. It saves time, money and aggravation! The facilitators really care about what they do. I received my permanent resident visa in record time. I know I sound like an ad rep but I’m a real Joe Schmo and use the guide for everything. Next up – getting hubs in on the family reunification visa!

It’s a wealth of relevant and useful information. Well worth the money we paid for it. Thanks for sharing your knowledge with us, Mariana!
As a member, we continually receive up to date information regarding areas of Mexico to explore with interviews from actual people who have transitioned to Mexico. The guide also keeps us informed with any rules, regulations or costs that might impact our move. Thank you Mariana.
I hesitated to spend the money. But I’m so happy that I did. There is not one question that I have had that I couldn’t find the answer to in the Mexico Relocation Guide.
There are two things that make this guide exceptional. First, it gets updated frequently. Second, there is a live, breathing human behind the guide…Mariana! This guide is NOT a buy it and you are forgotten. No, Mariana is there for you whenever you have a question. Just send her an email and she will answer back, promptly. I find it assuring that there is a human being behind the guide and that it gets recurrent updates.
