Many of you have probably heard of Lake Chapala and Ajijic as one of the best weathers in the world. But have you ever heard of Atlixco Puebla?

Atlixco is surrounded by mountains and sits at just over 6,000 ft above sea level and has temperate and cool weather year-round! In fact, Atlixco has spring-like weather more days out of the year than Ajijic. The difference is, Atlixco is not as popular with American and Canadian expats.
Which also means, you can have an authentic and very affordable lifestyle in Atlixco if you’re willing to learn some Spanish.
If you’re interested in what life can be like in Atlixco, watch my recent interview with Martha- one of our recommended private tour guides in Puebla.
