I needed to leave the US quickly and had already spend hundreds of hours researching what I could on my own before I realized there was just too much information to keep up with. I decided to reach out to MRG and was greeted with warmth, understanding and quick results. I feel like they were with me all the way from my couch in CA to my first apartment in Jalisco! I could not recommend these folks ENOUGH! Thank you MRG for literally everything!!
Don’t hesitate to buy the guide if you are on the fence. it is packed full of SO much helpful info. I had a successful temporary residency trip thanks to this guide. Money well spent!!!
What an amazing resource of information about moving to Mexico. Honestly, we have used this guide multiple times to give us insight and help in navigating our move. The data has proven to not only be reliable and useful, but it appears that Mariana has put a great deal of effort into compiling it all. From the residency documentation to help with moving, it’s all been great. There are many parts of the guide we haven’t taken advantage of yet, but that will change in the coming months. We are excited to be relocating to our new city and looking forward to the next chapter.
We decided to start looking at retiring in Mexico. Doing research, I came across the Mexico Relocation Guide. It’s a great step if you’re thinking about heading to Mexico and want to get an overview on – Healthcare, Visa’s, Real Estate, Taxes, Driving, Pets, Car Insurance… the list goes on! I’ve found it very valuable as the amount of info that is included is something that I keep going back to each time I have a question on a subject. The info is kept up to date, and I have learned to trust what I’m reading about and have definitely used the info in the Guide to help with our decision.
Mexico Relocation Guide has been extremely helpful to us in planning a relocation to MX. The resources are helpful, professional and knowledgeable. We especially found the on the ground Neighborhood Tours helpful when we looked in LaPaz B.C.S. and CDMX. The YouTube presentations were excellent as well. Maria is great at getting back to you if you communicate directly with her, although the necessity to do so is rare since the resources on the site are numerous and generally or specifically (topic or location) are very thorough and well done. Since it’s a lifetime membership, the price is reasonable for the constant updates, quality and usefulness of the resource. In my opinion, it saved me money in the long run. I have looked at other similar sites, but this is the best for accurate, up to date and common sense useful. I highly recommend this site even 2 years out.
This is an indispensable resource for anyone seriously considering moving to Mexico. There is no end to the amount of useful information for planning, deciding upon, or implementing such a huge life change. Mariana has covered relevant topics which I have not found anywhere else, and she has a great sense of what is likely to preoccupy her readers. I used one of the vetted facilitators listed in it to obtain my permanent residency visa and have rarely been so pleased with the results of working with any type of consultant. Considering the importance and potential complications of such a life change, I consider the cost of the Guide one of the best values ever!
The Mexico Relocation Guide has been a constant resource for us in our move to Mexico. We used it as we prepared to move, for our scouting trip, selecting a mover, and we have not stopped using it now that we are here. Each time we deviated from the guide and “went our own way” we lived to regret it. The vetted resources are priceless. We have found them all to be useful, and “above and beyond” what we could ask for. We even had one help us out of a bad situation created by a company we went with that was not vetted by the guide. We now say “well, if it’s not in the guide…don’t trust it”. Also the helpful hints and resources have made what is a difficult transition so much easier.
México Relocation Guide has been invaluable in my relocation journey. The Guide has connected me with immigration facilitators and relocation tour guides, which I definitely needed. I would not have known where to begin on my own. And the updates are helpful because the relocation process can take a while and things change. I highly recommend the guide – it has been money well spent.

The Guide is a must have if you want to get your residency in Mexico. It is loaded with all the information you need to become a resident. I stumbled around the internet for a couple of years trying to figure out what to do. Finally I purchased The Guide and within 3 months I had my Permanent Residency!! I highly recommend it!!
Before purchasing the Mexican Relocation Guide, I spent months doing my own research and watching many of Mariana’s YouTube videos, as well as subscribing to her emails. Every single one was incredibly helpful, clear, and reassuring.
When it came time to visit the Mexican consulate here in the U.S., I decided to purchase the guide because I wanted to be absolutely sure I had every possible tip and detail to be successful. That decision truly paid off. I successfully obtained my temporary residency at the Mexican Consulate in Sacramento, California, and I believe the guidance in this guide made a significant difference.
I then used the guide to connect with an immigration facilitator in Puerto Vallarta who was absolutely priceless in helping me navigate the canje process. I also hired a discovery tour facilitator, someone I met through the guide as well, who was knowledgeable, professional, and incredibly helpful.
As I prepare for my move to Mexico in April, I continue to rely on this guide regularly. I still watch Mariana’s videos and catch her live Q&A sessions whenever possible. I honestly cannot begin to explain how helpful this guide has been, and I could never have done this move without her assistance.
One of the things I appreciate most is that the guide is regularly updated and provides lifetime access once purchased, so I can return to it anytime. Every person I’ve connected with through the guide has been professional, responsive, and excellent. It has been worth every peso I paid for it.
I highly recommend this guide to anyone considering or planning a move to Mexico.

We would have had a different experience, probably more difficult without MRG when we moved! We found the right people to help facilitate our move to beautiful Guanajuato! My wife and I could not be happier!! Thank you Mariana Lange!
I especially appreciate the referral to an immigration counselor who is assisting me with residency. Also, she arranged in introduction to Mexico News Daily several months ago. That has been a fantastic source of so much news from the Mexican perspective, and fun ways to learn a little of the language too. The Facebook group is also very helpful. In my opinion Mexico Relocation Guide is a great value. If you are on the fence about buying, just do it!
Very helpful in giving us the confidence to follow our hearts because the data lined up.
Everything that I have needed to know about my move to Mexico has been in the MRG. I couldn’t have done it without Mariana’s expertise. Thank you!
The resources within the Mexico Relocation Guide have proved invaluable to me. We found a facilitator and obtained our Mexican residency using this person. As we continue to explore Mexico, there are other recommendations that we are using, including places to visit, healthcare options, insurance and so many other things. If you are seriously considering relocating to Mexico, this is a MUST HAVE resource – thanks Mariana!
My husband and I purchased the MRG about a year ago in preparation for our move to Guadalajara next month, and it’s been invaluable! Mariana and her crew have been extremely helpful and generous with their time, and we’ve found the posts, videos and seminars to be incredibly helpful. Through the MRG, we were connected with Gabby who guided us through the temporary resident visa program and set up our appointment with the Mexican Consulate in Phoenix. The appointment couldn’t have gone more smoothly and Minerva at the consulate was delightful to work with. Thanks so much Mariana – we’re looking forward to our adventure in Guadalajara!
This resource has been and will continue to be an amazing tool to help navigate life before and after moving to Mexico! Love Mariana’s videos too!
The Mexico Relocation Guide is a fabulous tool if you are planning to move to Mexico. It is a well put together, easy to follow resources that has been incredibly helpful to me as I move to CDMX from Toronto. Have contacted a recommended RE agent and private tour guide. Both are assisting me in this journey. I used one of the recommended facilitators and getting my PR was very easy, paperwork was correct, and she was with me for the Canje….🥰It’s invaluable. FIVE STARS
The Mexican Relo Guide was instrumental in helping us plan our move to Mexico. We ended up renting from a guide who’d been recommended by Marianna & we’re so glad we did. I think you can move to Mexico without the guide, but everything felt easier using the guide. A great investment.
Good advice for moving to Mexico. My wife and I booked a relocation tour with a company in the guide and it was excellent.
Mariana and the Mexico Relocation Guide are AWESOME! So very helpful in getting through the maze of permanent residency and helpful hints for finding the best places to live! It’s worth 2x the purchase price!

We are very pleased—and amazed—with how much helpful and beneficial information is packed into the MRG. 1000% recommend for anyone interested in relocating to Mexico!
A very worthwhile investment. The guide really does provide you with very comprehensive information about nearly everything you’ll need to know and do if you want to move to Mexico. I found my immigration facilitator in the guide and he was great; with his help I was able to quickly secure an appointment at a Mexican Consulate. The guide also provided me with great info on how to finalize the residency process in Mazatlan, and helped me prepare for any issues that may have occurred.
The private Facebook group is invaluable. There are other ‘expat’ groups on FB but the MRG group feels like it’s made up of people who are more well-informed. After buying the guide, it only took me 4 months to become a resident of Mexico.
Mariana does an incredible job of keeping everything up to date, and providing extra resources to MRG members on a regular basis. Mariana truly cares about her customers and wants to be sure that they are getting as much value out of the guide as possible.
Buying the guide was the first big step for me on my journey to live in Mexico, and I really don’t know if I would be this far along without it. HUGE THANKS to Mariana!

We are moving to Mexico this coming spring. Several years ago we purchased the guide. It is packed with excellent information on moving and living in Mexico. One of the best things is you buy it once and you always have great current information as they constantly research and update all the info. I highly recommend this Mexico Relocation Guide! Gracias!
Too expensive for what we got.
This is a great resource. I was just recommending it to a friend
I can’t imagine attempting to relocate to Mexico without the Mexico Relocation Guide. It’s incredibly useful. Not only describing processes, but the lists of vetted professionals to help with different aspects of the process are invaluable. I have met a few other people who are also planning to move to Mexico, and I always refer them to the Guide. Several folks already knew of the Guide and agreed that it was the best purchase we had made as we planned for our moves. I can’t recommend the Guide highly enough. Thanks, Mariana!

Once we decided to pursue having a residence in Mexico, a friend recommended that we subscribe to “The Mexico Relocation Guide”. It was the best investment that we could have made. We had already decided where we want to live in Mexico, so we took Mariana’s advice and pursued the first step in moving to Mexico by obtaining a Permanent Resident Visa. The step-by-step, illustrated process outlined in “The Guide” made it possible, if not particularly easy, for us to complete the consular part of the process here in the States without requiring professional help. For the final step in obtaining the residency cards, we wisely hired a Facilitator in Mexico to help us with the very bureaucratic, multiple-forms-in-triplicate, National Institute of Immigration (INM) interview in Mexico. In spite of the kindness of the INM officials, we probably could not have successfully completed this process efficiently without a Facilitator because of our limited fluency in Spanish. Our Facilitator was wonderful, efficient, patient and kind. As a result, as of October 31st, we are now proud permanent Mexican residents. We will now proceed with obtaining an actual place to live in Mexico using the detailed information in “The Guide”. We have decided to follow Mariana’s advice and rent before we buy a home. Her advice has been spot-on so far. I highly recommend “The Mexico Relocation Guide” if you are seriously contemplating relocating to Mexico. The process can seem daunting, but pursuing it methodically with the excellent and detailed information contained in “The Guide” and on Mariana’s podcasts, it is totally doable.
Mexico Relocation Guide is my trusted resource for managing the process of getting my permanent residency card and all the aspects of moving to Mexico. The facilitators are excellent and the information is accurate and reliable. Mariana Lange and the Mexico Relocation Guide are simply the BEST!
I can’t recommend the Mexico Relocation Guide enough. It’s comprehensive, well thought out and touches upon all aspects one must consider when moving to Mexico. Know you will be armed with the most current resources and information one needs for a successful move. Resources are well vetted and the guide is updated regularly in order to provide the most accurate information possible. I had a one minor issue with one resource in the guide; however, Mariana rectified the issue immediately and went above and beyond to ensure the integrity of the guide and my satisfaction. In my estimation, Mariana possesses ethical standards of the highest order and cares deeply about the MRG community. Join the Mexico Relocation Guide community with confidence… I’m certainly glad I did, and thank you again, Mariana!
For anyone considering moving to Mexico whether as a Temporary Resident or Dual Mexican Citizen especially if you’re not fluent in Spanish, I highly recommend the Mexico Relocation Guide. Making this small investment will save you so much time, stress, and confusion. Mariana has already done all the hard work and research for you.
Mexico’s rules and bureaucracy can change quickly, but she keeps everything up to date and provides a trusted list of verified contacts from A to Z.

We first started planning our move to Mexico about 3 years ago and purchased the Mexico Relocation Guide. We fully stepped into the process after my retirement earlier this year. The entire logistics of the move, including packing, housing, bringing our dog, residency, etc. went so well due to all of the invaluable information provided by Mariana! We received our residency last Friday with the help of one of Mariana’s vetted facilitators and the process could not have been easier. If you are planning a move to Mexico, do yourself a favor, Get The Guide!
After getting frustrated with other options, it was a huge relief to have the level of detail, extent of contacts, and regularly updated information in Mexico Relocation Guide. The other group members are supportive, the Q&A informative, and the guide is time- and money-saving to cut down on confusion and improve the odds of success. Well worth the investment when you know you’re ready to go beyond the casual vacation or tourist trip.
Love this guide! Mariana has done a great job of finding sources and providing information of all kinds that will help you relocate to Mexico. Highly recommended!
The Mexico Relocation Guide has been an invaluable resource throughout our relocation process from exploring cities and regions of the country, to taking relocation tours, and into the process of applying for residence. There are relevant up to date YouTube videos, a list of professionals you can rely on for going from exploration to reality. The investment in buying the MRG has been well worth it.
